Group Thinking Measure
TS@Exeter affiliates have been developing a test to measure group thinking. Research suggests that group thinking ability does not relate closely to individual thinking ability but depends upon group processes of a kind that can be taught. Some approaches to teaching thinking such as 'Thinking Together', are directly aimed at improving group thinking, others, such as Philosophy for Children and the teaching of questioning, should have a positive impact on group thinking.
